Let me just say that I hate computers.
I recently ordered a Gateway "Desktop Replacement" laptop and, well, it worked for all of one hour, when I finally received it, before it turned into a giant, eletric paperweight.
So, needless to say, I'm STILL not playing WoW... so, this isn't much of a WoW blog. In fact, the only things I could muse about are usually taken care of by more capable people.
For those of you that follow this blog, I apologize for barely keeping it active. I knew when I started it, that it would be a struggle to keep myself updating it... and, maybe it's self-fulfilling prophecy, but so it's held true.
I am really excited about Wrath of the Lich King and can't wait until I can finally play again... In the mean time, I've been keeping myself busy with Fallout 3, on the XBox360. Very good game.

Republicans... WTF!?
Alright! This blog is all of 2 days old, let's start it off with a political rant!
Man, I'm not even a political person. I don't even intend on voting, because I don't consider myseslf educated enough about EITHER candiadate to make an intelligent vote. However, being in the military, it's hard to not catch wind of some kind of political crap. CNN, FOX News and all that other sort of stuff is on every tv, around here... if football isn't on, that is. You can't help but to catch wind of the acrid, sulfurous stench of politicians wafting through the air...
That being said, while I was sitting in the galley, eating lunch, I started watching CNN. They were talking about the way that McCain and Palin's "supporters" were turning angry. Violent, even. This intrigued me. I wasn't sure what they were talking about, since I don't follow politics, so I started watching...
They show this clip of one of McCain's ralleys...
I think that's what they're called. A ralley, right?
Anyway, and this woman is speaking into the mic... this wrinkled, ancient old biggot... Well, I'll let you see for yourself...
Can you believe that?! I sure as hell can't. I mean, that blew me away! I mean, it must have, right? I don't give a damn about politics, but here I am...
Obama isn't even Arab! Where the hell is that goofy, old bat getting her information!?
Please, if you're not voting for Senator Obama because of what he stands for or what he wants for this country, or whatever, fine. That's your right. However, if it's because he's black or you think he's an Arab or because he doesn't wear an American Flag pin on his lapel...
Just jump off a bridge, you mindless imbecile. I mean, for the love of Elune, it's 2008!
Hate people for who they are, not the color of their skin!
Anyway, just wanted to share that with ya'll. I thought it was crazy and it made my jaw-drop.
By the way, I apologize for this being one of the first posts I have on here. I really don't for politics and it REALLY doesn't have a place here, on my blog... I just really hate blatant, ignorant racism.
Peace and love,
Kro

Turtle, turtle, turtle...
I wanted to show ya'll the the pictures I took at the San Diego Zoo, before my deployment.
I've got more on my MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/oftheearth23
I've got several albums on there, including my San Diego Zoo album. There are also several pictures of myself, so you can see the face, behind the blog.
Thanks again, guys.
Peace and love,
Kro

Bloooooooooooooooooog... what a goofy word...
Welcome! =)
My name is Clay. I'm a United States Navy sailor, currently stationed in Germany. I've been playing World of Warcraft for upwards of two years, on and off.
At this point in time, my account is inactive and I have no access to the game. As many of you know, Wrath of the Lich King is fast upon us! Woot! I haven't been able to play for quite some time, due to a several year old, used laptop that is unable to play minesweeper, let alone WoW.
However, I've been keeping up with all the new information about Wrath and I'm incredibly excited... But, there's no one to talk to about WoW around here. So, instead of boring my friends and coworkers with information and discussions about a game they don't care about, I figured I'd reguritate it all on here and see if anybody agrees! =p
I started playing WoW shortly after Burning Crusade was released, so that I could play with my brother and keep in contact with him, while I was stationed in Portsmouth, Virginia... mostly, since he wouldn't play City of Heroes and City of Villains with me.
Little did I know, that I would fall in the love with the Hunter class (as well as several other classes, but not to the same extent...) I've even considered leveling ANOTHER one! I want to get the other classes to 70/80 first, though.
"As the Kro Fliess..." was inspired, mostly by my namesake, Kro. In City of Heroes, Kro was my Force Field/Radiation Blast Defender that was my first lv50. That was nearly 5 years ago and the name Kro continues to follow me everywhere. Forums, games, screen names... you name it! After I joined my brother in the World of Warcraft, of course, Kro had to follow me there, too, and he became my Troll Hunter... and we've been exploring the world of Azeroth together, with our assorted wild friends, ever since. "Kro" is, and probably forever will be, through my gaming life.
Secondly, "As the Kro Flies..." is a spin-off of the famous phrase: "as the crow flies" that refers to the shortest distance between two points. It takes on a different meaning here, however. It more refers to my travels, both within the world of Azeroth and my travels in real life.
Anyway, I've droned on long enough, for my first post. Keep in mind, this isn't a serious WoW "blog." It's just an experimental journal for me to document my thoughts about WoW, life and all the other stuff that ends up within each.
Thanks for reading, guys. Bear with me, guys. This is my first blog and I'm still working on my technique. ;)
Peace and love,
Kro
